Wes Akers

As a T.K. or teacher’s kid, I grew up in education and it became a part of who I am. Growing up, I spent many hours in my Dad’s high school tech-ed classroom watching him prepare model projects for his students. As a small 2nd grader, I remember helping him make picket signs when the teachers’ union went on strike. Public education always been present in my life and it seemed natural to pursue it as my career path.

As teaching and learning become more engrained in my being, I want to start sharing my ideas with my classmates and other visitors to my site.  Please feel free to add your ideas to my blog. My purpose in designing this website is to share my projects and resources with my classmates pursuing a graduate degree in Information and Learning Technologies through the University of Colorado Denver.
