Based on discussion comments and survey results, the most popular tools are used to enhance audio and visual aspects of online learning. We want to ensure our students are receiving the highest quality audio and visual instruction. Different types of cameras, microphones, and monitors are duplicated in the discussion.
Our classmates are also enticed by wireless or bluetooth devices because they allow for more freedom and flexibility when building a functional homebase. As online teachers, we do not want to be tied to a traditional desk or classroom. We want the freedom to bring our classroom and students with us wherever we venture.
We are also interested in tools that connect us with students and their work. We want tools that allows us to provide students with timely feedback and troubleshooting advice when problems arise. Our choices show we want our students to know that we are active and available teachers.
Our concerns with tools are related to our own insecurities and confidence with technology. When we have time to experiment with tools, we are able to build confidence in our ability to recognize high quality tools when we see them. Through experiences, we will become more confident in knowing which tools work best for our students.

As a collective group, we are ready to be technology advocates for our students, teachers, and schools.

My partner, Stephanie, created a fabulous infographic illustrating the results of the Fox pack discussion. I thought it was worth sharing. Take a look, Wolf pack!
